In January-November 2023, the structure of Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade showed that exports accounted for 20.2%, the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan informed.

Switzerland was the leading export partner among non-CIS countries, contributing 28.8% to the country's total exports, followed by the UAE at 6.4%, Turkey at 5.1%, China at 2.6%, and Iran at 0.8%.

Among CIS countries, Russia (24.1%), Kazakhstan (15%), and Uzbekistan (9.3%) constituted a significant share of export deliveries.

From non-CIS countries, substantial volumes of imported goods came from China (43% of total imports), Japan (2.1%), the Republic of Korea (4.5%), Turkey (3.8%), the United States (3.5%), and Germany (3.4%).

The volume of exports to non-CIS countries increased by 3.2 times compared to the same period in 2022, totaling $1.4 billion. Meanwhile, exports to CIS countries decreased by 14%, amounting to $1.4 billion.

The growth in the export of goods is mainly attributed to increased shipments of plastics and plastic products, ore and concentrates of precious metals, coal, frozen fish, and bread.
