One of the flagship sectors of Turkmenistan's economy, the oil and gas industry, is developing its export potential. The main exporter of oil products is the Turkmenbashi Oil Refining Complex (TKNPK) of the State Concern "Turkmennebit," Orient.tm reports.
Through the processing of oil using modern technological facilities, the TKNPK produces automotive and diesel fuel, lubricants, polypropylene, liquefied gas, and other high-quality petrochemical products that meet global standards.
In 2023, the company processed 4,504,557 tons of "black gold" and produced 1,395,602 tons of gasoline, 428,867 tons of jet fuel, 1,390,095 tons of diesel fuel, 63,563 tons of polypropylene, 102,923 tons of liquefied gas, and 57,000 tons of lubricating oils, the regional newspaper "Balkan" reports.
The plant's infrastructure is equipped with gas turbine power plants, desalination units for seawater, steam generators, secondary water coolers, pumping stations, reservoir parks, power stations, and other auxiliary facilities.
The high-quality oil and petrochemical products produced at the Turkmenbashi Oil Refining Complex are exported to various regions, including Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
