In Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz region, new medium-pressure gas pipelines were laid in 2024, reports Turkmenportal.tm.

The pipelines were constructed in the village of Ak Altyn within the "Gökýaýla" council of Boldumsaz district, in the village of Ushak within the Bereketli council along Galkynyş Street in the city of Gubadag, and in several other locations served by the Gubadag unit of GHE "Boldumsazetrapgaz," according to the publication Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

Additionally, internal distribution network infrastructure was installed in these areas.

In total, 6.5 kilometers of feeder pipelines and 2.5 kilometers of internal networks were laid in a single section throughout the year. This met the annual target for constructing new gas infrastructure.

High-quality pipes of varying diameters, characterized by high throughput capacity and wear resistance, were used for the construction. These pipes ensure uninterrupted supply of natural gas to consumers.

Gas pipelines are typically extended to new industrial facilities and developing urban and rural areas.

Alongside new construction, significant attention is being paid in the region to the efficient operation of existing networks, gas distribution and regulation equipment, and ensuring their stable and safe performance, the source notes.
