"In Tajikistan, there are now 330 enterprises with the participation of Russian capital, compared to 2021, their number has increased by 10%," he said.
Among them are companies that entered the country's market at the end of 2022, specializing in the delivery of groupage cargo, the provision of medical services, communications and catering services, and the production of textiles, he added.
At the end of 2022, for the first time in 3 years, a meeting of the Russian-Tajik Business Council was held, during which the issue of creating a transport and logistics center in Tajikistan was raised, which will provide storage, sorting, warehouse logistics of import-export products of the two countries, Korenkov said.
"In addition, micro-crediting of Tajik buyers of Russian products is envisaged," he added.
According to him, the Trade Representation, together with Russian companies, is actively working on 4 promising investment projects.
Thus, it is planned to organize the processing of fruits for additives in confectionery, to launch a shoe factory in the north of Tajikistan in Khujand, a large assembly assembly in one of the Free Economic Zones of Tajikistan and a Center with electron accelerators for phytosanitary processing.
He added that at the end of November, the Eurasian Development Bank presented in Dushanbe a five-year Strategy for Tajikistan, where attention is focused on projects in the field of food security and the creation of wholesale distribution centers, which the EDB is ready to finance.
