The Turkmen company Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd and Uzbekneftegaz have agreed to supply oil from Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan in 2023, the press service of the Uzbek oil and gas company announced.
The parties reached an agreement on oil supplies during negotiations in Tashkent on January 24, 2023.
Crude oil will be supplied to the Bukhara oil refinery. At the same time, the volumes of supplies of Turkmen oil, prices and other terms of the contract are not given.
Petronas Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd is one of the operators for oil and gas production on the Turkmen shelf of the Caspian Sea. A subsidiary of the Malaysian fully integrated oil and gas multinational company Petronas.
