The Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, in his letter addressed to President Serdar Berdymukhamedov on the occasion of the New Year, noted that the organization highly appreciates the efforts of the Turkmen head of state in expanding cultural exchange, according to TDH.
"The Organization of Turkic States highly values your efforts to activate regional cooperation, economic development, and cultural exchange within the Turkic world, as well as your commitment to strengthening the fraternal cooperation among Turkic states," the letter states.
Omuraliev wished the people of Turkmenistan peace, prosperity, and new successes. Last year, by the decision of the Turkic Council, the Turkmen city of Anau was declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world.
