Astana hosted another round of political consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The delegations of the parties were headed by Deputy Foreign Ministers Sodik Imomi and Ermukhambet Konuspaev, the Tajik Foreign Ministry reports.
The parties considered in detail the topical issues of Tajik-Kazakh relations, exchanged views on the interaction of the two countries within the framework of international organizations and the problems of regional security.
Particular attention was paid to the preparations for the planned state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 3-4, 2023.
The consultations were held in a constructive atmosphere.
