President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Rome met with the head of the WeBuild company Pietro Salini, with whom he discussed the progress of work on the construction of the Rogun hydroelectric power station, the press service of the President of Tajikistan reports.
Emomali Rahmon expressed his opinion on the issues of construction of the power plant dam, which he observed during his working trips.

The head of the ViBuild company informed Emomali Rahmon about the fulfillment of obligations and the progress of construction work.
The parties also exchanged views on other issues of cooperation, acceleration of work and effective use of existing capabilities and resources.
The President of Tajikistan is on an official visit to Italy, where he will stay until April 25, after which he will head to the Vatican.
