The President of the United States sent several gifts to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, including a symbolic key to the White House and a baseball cap bearing his autograph. This was reported by Ruslan Zheldibay, Assistant and Press Secretary to the President of Kazakhstan, according to Kazinform.
During a brief conversation following the ceremony for the presentation of credentials, U.S. President Donald Trump shared his impressions with Kazakhstan’s Ambassador, Magzhan Ilyassov, about his meeting with Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the Oval Office in November of this year.
The American leader conveyed warm personal wishes to the President of Kazakhstan, emphasized his respect, and described him as “a wonderful person and an experienced statesman with a deep and balanced understanding of international processes.”
