The work of the office is aimed at coordinating joint measures to accelerate the practical implementation of the railway construction project.
The Kyrgyz State Enterprise NC "Kyrgyz Temir Zholu" and JSC "Uzbekiston Temir Yollari" are carrying out all the necessary preliminary measures for the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.
The First Design and Survey Institute of the China Railway Construction Corporation is working on the development of a feasibility study for the project.
The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Committee for Development and Reforms of the People's Republic of China signed a trilateral Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project on September 14, 2022 in Samarkand.
