The 11th "China-Central Asia" Cooperation Forum was held in the city of Yinchuan, located in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northern China.
The opening ceremony saw the participation of regional leaders, officials from China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and heads of Central Asian delegations. Attendees also included representatives from diplomatic missions, business associations, universities, and enterprises, reports Orient.tm.
The forum's central theme was "Promoting Green Development for Building a Common Home." It featured four sessions focusing on:
1. Industrial green development,
2. Modern agriculture and scientific-technical innovations,
3. Cooperation between twin cities and cultural exchanges,
4. Regional cooperation.
Additionally, the event included the presentation of the Central Asian Exhibition and Trade Center, showcasing products from Central Asian countries and along the China-Europe rail route. The center is expected to officially open early next year and will provide integrated services including procurement, transportation, and sales.
