The meeting focused on the current state and prospects of relations between Tajikistan and the EU, as well as key regional issues.

President Rahmon stated: "Tajikistan is making the necessary efforts to further develop and expand multilateral cooperation with the European Union and its member states."

Discussions covered the expansion of ties in the fields of economy and trade, investment, industry, agriculture, and energy, including attracting funds for hydropower projects. Strengthening and supporting social sectors, particularly healthcare, was also deemed essential.

It was emphasized that Tajikistan is committed to expanding green technologies and, under its Green Economy Development Strategy until 2037, aims to generate electricity entirely from renewable sources.
