Readiness of nation to host international events discussed in Tajikistan

The authorities of Tajikistan held a working meeting with the participation of representatives of all important state bodies of the country to discuss the country's readiness to host international events this year, Pressa.tj reports.

During the meeting with the participation of the President of the country, the Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Kokhir Rasulzoda spoke about the progress of preparatory work for the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the next Meeting of the Council of the Heads of State-Founders of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, which will be held on 14-15 September 2023 in Dushanbe.

Issues related to the expansion of landscaping work with the aim of worthy celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of Tajikistan and other constructive measures were also considered.

A report was also heard from Deputy Prime Minister Sulaimon Ziezod on the state of field work, timely harvest without losses, re-sowing, sufficient reservation of food and other agricultural products.

President Emamoli Rahmon, who took part in the meeting, gave instructions to the relevant structures to carry out the planned activities at the proper level.
