A record number of companies with foreign participation was registered in Kyrgyzstan in 2022, according to the Ecoonomist.kg portal, citing the register of legal entities of the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan.
The number of new companies with the participation of non-residents of Kyrgyzstan that were registered or re-registered in 2022 amounted to 2609. This figure was 1139 in 2021. At the same time, in the first three months of 2023, another 771 companies with foreign participation appeared in Kyrgyzstan.
The smallest number of such companies over the past five years was registered or re-registered in the “covid” year of 2020 - only 750.
