South Korea to implement $78 mln projects in Kyrgyzstan

South Korea is an important partner for Kyrgyzstan, with successfully implemented projects in key sectors totaling around $78 million. This was stated during a meeting in Bishkek between the Deputy Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, Sanzharbek Bolotov, and the Vice President of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Hong Seok Hwa, reports Economist.kg.

Deputy Minister Bolotov proposed expanding cooperation and providing support for priority projects in Kyrgyzstan, planned to be financed through KOICA grant funds.

In turn, Hong Seok Hwa emphasized the importance of the ministry's role as the national coordinator for official development assistance and highlighted the significance of developing various sectors of the economy, expressing readiness for productive cooperation.
