Tajik-Pakistani relations reach qualitatively new level

As part of the 7th meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, and Scientific-Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, a bilateral meeting was held between the co-chairs of the commission—Tajikistan's Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma and Pakistan's Federal Minister of Energy Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, Khovar reports, citing the ministry's press service.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the current level and substance of relations between the two countries, noting that future cooperation would expand and reach a qualitatively new level.

During the discussions, significant attention was paid to strengthening ties in priority sectors such as economy, trade, investments, energy, scientific and educational cooperation, as well as cultural collaboration between the two nations.

Confidence was expressed that this latest meeting of the Joint Commission on Trade, Economic, and Scientific-Technical Cooperation would open a new chapter in the development of good-neighborly relations between the two countries.
