The state and prospects for mutually beneficial bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and France were considered in Paris at a meeting between Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin and French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna, the Information Department of the Tajik Foreign Ministry reports.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the fruitful results of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to France in October 2021 and the high-level dialogue that took place.
During the conversation, the interlocutors stressed their readiness to further strengthen and enrich relations between the two countries.
In addition, they discussed issues that the leaders of the two countries mentioned in a telephone conversation in November this year, and raised other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest, in particular the situation in Afghanistan and the strengthening of borders.
