Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to strengthen cooperation in air transport

The State Unitary Enterprise 'Tajikaeronavigation' and the State Unitary Enterprise 'Uzaeronavigation' signed a memorandum of cooperation, reports the press service of the Civil Aviation Agency of Tajikistan.

Cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the field of civil aviation is developing within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between the countries. The presidents of the two countries signed an agreement on allied relations between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in April 2024, according to the statement.

It is noted that the leaders of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan instructed their governments to explore the possibility of opening new air routes between the cities of the two countries and to increase the frequency of flights between the capitals.
