It was particularly emphasized that the Agreement between the Governments of Tajikistan and Qatar on Labor Regulation, signed on February 3, 2019, has created an effective mechanism for the training and deployment of migrant workers.
The parties also recalled that cooperation between the State Agency for Employment Abroad and Jusur began on May 15, 2023, and candidate selection is being conducted through a specially created electronic platform.
Special attention was paid to the results of interviews between Qatari companies and Tajik applicants, which took place on January 25 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Eight hundred Tajik citizens participated, of whom 186 were hired, and a decision on 230 candidates will be made later. The meeting participants expressed hope that the interviews scheduled for January 25–27 will enable them to reach a larger number of applicants and provide them with suitable jobs with competitive salaries.
At the end of the meeting, Soleh Kholmahmadzoda emphasized the importance of the Qatari delegation's visit in expanding employment opportunities for Tajik citizens and expressed gratitude to their partners for their cooperation.
