Russia ranks second, with 329,000 tourists, followed by Kazakhstan, contributing 28,000 visitors.

Tourism’s Contribution to the Country's Economy

The tourism sector remains one of the key industries for Tajikistan’s economy. The development of this sector plays an important role in infrastructure improvement and attracting investments.

It is noteworthy that out of the total number of foreign visitors, 89,100 people arrived with tourism as their primary purpose, underscoring the country's appeal as a destination for travel and cultural exchange.

Tourism not only strengthens international connections but also plays a crucial role in the economic development of the republic, making it a strategically important area for Tajikistan's future growth and prosperity.
