Tajikistan Strengthens Dialogue with Global Investors

DUSHANBE - Representatives of leading international financial institutions held talks in Dushanbe with the leadership of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of Tajikistan to discuss expanding investment cooperation and attracting foreign capital to the country's economy, Avesta.tj reports.

Committee Chairman Sulton Rahimzoda briefed the meeting participants on key areas of economic reforms being implemented in Tajikistan, as well as measures to improve the business climate and support the private sector. Particular attention was paid to opportunities for foreign investors and prospects for participation in major investment projects.

The parties discussed financial market development, investment attraction mechanisms, and prospects for cooperation in areas such as energy, industry, infrastructure, digital technologies, and green economy projects.

Representatives of international companies noted growing interest in Tajikistan's economic potential and expressed their willingness to explore new investment opportunities. Following the meeting, the participants confirmed their intention to continue the dialogue and expand cooperation in the investment sector.

By the end of 2025, Tajikistan will have attracted over $6.92 billion in foreign investment, an increase of $1.8 billion, or 35.1%, compared to 2024.
