Tajikistan, UAE discussed issue of creating logistics, transit and export center for goods

In the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, within the framework of the 13th Conference of Ministers of WTO member countries, a meeting took place between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, Zavkizoda Zavki Amin, and the General Director of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Mohammad Juma Al Shamsi, Avesta reports.

Zavki Zavkizoda, emphasizing the significant transit, logistical capabilities, and export potential of the country, called on the General Director of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group to finance the creation of a logistics, transport, and export center for goods in the city of Dushanbe. The Tajik side's call was positively received.

Zavki Zavkizoda also expressed satisfaction with the cooperation of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group with Avesto Group LLC.

The Abu Dhabi Ports Group offers more than 20 types of transit, logistics, and digital services in emerging markets worldwide and has offices in 26 countries. The company employs over 9000 people.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness for further expansion of trade and economic cooperation.
