Tashkent has become one of the cheapest cities in the world for foreign specialists to live in, according to the compilers of the Cost of Living City Ranking, Nova24.uz reports.
There are 277 cities in the rating, the capital of Uzbekistan is located on the 218th place, a year earlier it occupied the 221st line. Hong Kong is the most expensive city for foreigners to live in.
Least of all foreigners will give in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad. Tashkent, in the ranking, is located between Cairo and Tunisia.
Earlier it was reported that Tashkent lost its position in the ranking of world cities in terms of quality of life. The capital of Uzbekistan entered the top ten countries that worsened their performance over the past year more than others.
