Kazakhstan intends and is already planning to allocate more than 1 trillion tenge to develop the country's transport potential, the LS portal informs. Of these, more than 535 billion tenge will be spent on the development of transport infrastructure.
According to the budget plan of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, of this amount, 90.9 billion tenge will be directed to the development of transit potential, seazag in the budget plan of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan. Including railways will be subsidized by 42.8 billion tenge, and air transportation - by 6.3 billion tenge.
It is also planned to carry out construction and installation work of 20 frontier posts for 22.3 billion tenge (two - in Aktobe region for 2.2 billion tenge, four - in Kostanay region for 4.7 billion tenge, two - in Pavlodar region for 2.1 billion tenge, 12 - in the North Kazakhstan region by 13.3 billion tenge).
In addition, 19.5 billion tenge will be allocated to ensure the safety of navigation.
444.6 billion tenge is allocated for the development of the transport infrastructure itself. Including 130.6 billion tenge for the repair of roads: capital (64.2 billion tenge), medium (42.1 billion tenge), current and maintenance (24.3 billion tenge).
As part of the development of ways of republican significance, 12 projects for 81.4 billion tenge are envisaged. Also, 10 projects are related to the construction and reconstruction of roads. Further construction of the Almaty metro nexo year will require 11.7 billion tenge. The quality of construction and repair work will be ensured at the expense of 5.1 billion tenge.
The ministry expects that the works will cover 43% of the republican roads of I and II technical category. Repairs will be carried out on 1.2 thousand km of republican roads, reconstruction - on 120 km of republican roads.
