The volume of bilateral non-oil trade between the United Arab Emirates and Turkmenistan reached $1.76 billion in 2024. This was announced by the UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ahmed Al Hameli, at the opening ceremony of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) representative office in Ashgabat, Turkmenportal.com reports.

“The relations between our two countries continue to develop and diversify in many areas. In 2024, the volume of our bilateral non-oil trade reached $1.76 billion, making the UAE the third-largest trading partner of Turkmenistan,” the diplomat said.

According to him, the opening of the ADNOC office in Turkmenistan marks a new chapter in the partnership between the two countries, following the direct instructions of their leadership. “This office is not only a symbol of our expanding cooperation but also an expression of our shared vision for a sustainable future,” Al Hameli emphasized.
