The trade turnover of Uzbekistan with Russia in 2022 increased by 23% compared to 2021, to $9.28 billion, Russian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Oleg Malginov said in an interview with Uzbekistan 24 TV channel.
"Despite all the difficulties ... the trade turnover is growing by more than 10%, and we hope that it will significantly exceed the volume of $ 10 billion," Prime quoted the Russian diplomat as saying.
According to him, industrial cooperation between our countries is currently developing well, about 3 thousand joint ventures have been created in Uzbekistan that produce demanded products.
A similar assessment of trade turnover in February was voiced by Rjccbb trade representative in Uzbekistan Konstantin Zlygostev. He also expressed the opinion that the figure could exceed $10 billion by the end of the current year.
