According to the report of the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and China in the first eight months of 2023 reached $3.176.5 billion. This represents an increase of $560.1 million or 21.4% compared to the previous year when it was $2.616.4 billion. The primary reason for the growth in bilateral trade volumes between the two countries is the increase in imports from China, which, during the same period in 2022, grew by 21.7% or $558 million, reaching $3.1 billion.

Additionally, Kyrgyz exports to China also showed positive dynamics, increasing by 4.7% to $46.7 million.

The main imported goods from China include dishwashing machines, automobiles, knit fabrics, footwear components, fasteners, and hardware. Kyrgyzstan exported ores and concentrates of precious metals, copper ores and concentrates, oil and petroleum products, and other products to China.
