Turkmenistan exported goods to Azerbaijan in January-February 2023 in the amount of $89.5 million, which is almost 4 times more than in 2022, Trend reports.
The total volume of trade between the countries amounted to more than $105 million. For comparison, in 2022 for the same period, this figure was at the level of $29.1 million.
In turn, Azerbaijan exported goods worth $15.5 million to Turkmenistan, increasing deliveries by 2.3 times. Thus, the positive trade balance of Turkmenistan is about $74 million.
Since January 1, 2023, Turkmenistan has been carrying out sea feeder container transportation along the Turkmenbashi-Baku-Turkmenbashi route.
