The Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ilyas Gaipov, held a meeting with the Deputy Governor of Khorasan-Razavi Province, Hasan Nurizade. The main topic of discussion was the development of interregional cooperation, particularly between Mary Province of Turkmenistan and Khorasan-Razavi Province of Iran. During the negotiations, the parties noted the intensive development of Turkmen-Iranian relations in various fields, including trade and economic, scientific and technical, and cultural and humanitarian spheres. Special attention was paid to the prospects of strengthening ties between the regions of the two countries.
The diplomats exchanged views on the current state of cooperation and discussed important issues for the further development of relations between Mary Province and Khorasan-Razavi Province.
