As part of the 15th meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee on Economic Cooperation in Ashgabat, productive meetings were held with representatives of leading Japanese companies, reports Orient.tm.
Participants discussed pressing issues of bilateral economic cooperation and outlined promising areas for joint activities. It was noted that in recent years, trade and economic ties between Turkmenistan and Japan have significantly strengthened, with a trend toward increasing trade volumes between the two countries.
Special attention during meetings with government members and heads of various agencies was given to prospects for cooperation in key sectors such as energy, transport and communications, industry, agriculture, construction, finance, and investment.
In particular, the parties expressed interest in implementing joint projects aimed at modernizing enterprises and introducing energy-saving technologies.
