A meeting was held in Islamabad between Turkmen Ambassador Atajan Movlamov and Pakistani Ambassador to Ashgabat Faryal Leghari.

During the meeting, the diplomats discussed the possibility of organizing industrial and agricultural exhibitions in both Turkmenistan and Pakistan. These venues are intended to serve as a bridge for the business communities of the two countries, Orient.tm reports.

For Turkmenistan, this represents an opportunity to expand exports of fuel and energy and chemical products to the capacious Pakistani market, while for Pakistan, it represents a strengthening of its position in the region's agricultural sector.

In addition to the exhibition activities, the diplomats updated the status of joint energy and transport megaprojects. The parties emphasized that trade and economic ties are currently receiving new impetus thanks to strengthened political trust and direct interaction between the business communities.
