Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Myahri Byashimova, and the U.S. Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Elizabeth Rood, held talks in Ashgabat. This was reported by the website of the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, both sides noted the positive dynamics in the development of bilateral relations based on the principles of mutual respect and trust. They discussed trade and economic cooperation as well as collaboration in cultural and humanitarian areas.
The parties agreed to continue the dialogue on implementing projects in the fields of science and education.
