A roadmap for the introduction of a risk analysis system on border security issues into the institutional regulatory framework has been developed in Turkmenistan. This was stated at the national seminar for representatives of the border, customs and other specialized structures of Turkmenistan, organized by the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA 10), the press service of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan reports.
During the event, experts from the Latvian State Border College and the Riga Technical University presented the European experience in implementing unified border management in state bodies. The participants were also introduced to the procedure for analyzing security threats in the border area. Orient reports.
According to the announced data, the event was organized as part of Component 1 of the BOMCA 10 Program. It is aimed at developing and strengthening the institutional capacity of border control authorities in the countries of Central Asia to achieve national and global security.
