The General Director of the Transport and Communications Agency, M. Chakyev, reported on the modernization of the regulatory framework of the transport and communications complex in accordance with modern requirement, the state information agency TDH reports.
As reported at the meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan, for further development of the country's space industry, the development of the Concept of State Policy in the Field of Space Activities is planned. The main tasks include improving work in the space sector with the introduction of new technologies, expanding the services of the TürkmenÄlem 52°E satellite, and modernizing ground-based space infrastructure.
President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, emphasized the importance of the effective use of satellite communication potential for the digital system. He instructed to continue improving the legal framework of the transport and communications sector in accordance with the realities of the time and to work in this direction.
