Turkmenistan increasing its export of cotton yarn

The Khalach Cotton Yarn Factory in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan has exported over 1,000 tons of finished products to six countries, including Armenia, Poland, Iran, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Russia since the beginning of the year. This export represents half of the total production at the factory, which has already exceeded 2,300 tons, the newspaper "Turkmenistan" published, Turkmenportal.tm reports.

The factory produces 14-16 tons of high-quality yarn daily, thanks to the continuous operation of modern equipment from leading European manufacturers, the newspaper notes.

The success of the textile industry is just one of the positive developments from various regions of Turkmenistan. In the Ahal region, preparations are underway for the autumn sheep shearing, with livestock breeders already exceeding their birth rate plan by 101.5%.

At the "Guvlyduz" salt plant in the Balkan region, around 57,364 tons of salt were extracted over seven months, surpassing the planned figures by 1,600 tons.

In the Dashoguz region, the private enterprise "Amantai" is increasing the production of high-quality wicker furniture, which is in high demand. Meanwhile, in the Mary region, intensive preparation of wheat seeds for autumn sowing is underway, utilizing modern equipment.
