The delegation of Gansu Province of China, headed by a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC, Minister of Information of the Province Zhang Yunxia, presented the readiness of the 6th International Cultural Expo "Silk Road (Donghuan)" to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China, Ritmeurasia.org reports.
Zhang Yunxia at a meeting with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan stressed that the parties have every opportunity to intensify cooperation at the interregional level. In addition, she noted the special role played by the Great Silk Road in the mutual enrichment of historical and cultural relations, and invited Turkmenistan to take part in the 6th International Cultural Expo "Silk Road (Donghuan)" supported by the Central Government of China as an honored guest.
In response, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China expressed his gratitude for the information provided. He also spoke about the cultural and civilizational contribution of Turkmenistan, its current economic and social development, energy and transport and logistics capabilities, as well as big plans to be implemented.
The 6th International Cultural Expo "Silk Road (Donghuan)" will be held in August-September 2023 in Donghuan, China.
