ASHGABAT - The official presentation and launch of the Transport Expedition (TEX) digital logistics platform took place in Turkmenistan. It aims to unite shippers, private carriers, fleet owners, and logistics companies on a single online platform, reports Turkmenportal.com.
The project was implemented by the Daşly Kenar business entity with the support of the Turkmen Logistics Association, which unites over 160 specialized companies. Business representatives, industry experts, and manufacturers attended the ceremony, and an online broadcast was organized for international participants.
The platform's development took two years, involving national and international specialists. TEX is the country's first large-scale digital logistics solution, enabling transactions and settlements in both international currencies and Turkmen manat.
The service operates on a one-stop-shop principle through its website and mobile apps. Key features include automatic transport selection, GPS cargo monitoring, cost reduction through direct interaction between participants, and analytics tools.
The platform is already operational and available in English, Russian, and Turkish.
