President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution on the establishment of a commission to develop a Concept for the formation of a National Digital Network not connected to the Internet, the state agency TDH reports.
In accordance with this, the composition of the commission was approved, which will have to take systemic measures aimed at creating an autonomous National Digital Network in Turkmenistan.
As part of the development of digital technologies in Turkmenistan, the development of domestic applications, websites and platforms designed for work and leisure is actively underway. For example, the state-owned telecommunications company Turkmentelekom, in cooperation with private partner companies, is creating a national ecosystem of useful web services.
