At the Global Gateway Investment Forum on Sustainable Transport EU-Central Asia, scheduled to take place in Brussels from January 29 to 30, Turkmenistan will present its potential in the relevant sector, the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age" reports.
During the forum, the Turkmen side plans to discuss the implementation of joint projects in the field of transport with European partners.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has instructed to ensure a high level of organization for the plenary session on "Investment Opportunities of Turkmenistan's Transport Complex," scheduled within the forum. With the aim of developing the national economy, Turkmenistan intends to increase freight traffic in the region through the effective utilization of the country's transport potential.
It is known that as part of strengthening the transport and communication complex, Ashgabat will build modern railway and automobile stations, airports, steel highways, cargo terminals, and seagoing vessels.
