The total trade in goods and services between the United Kingdom and Turkmenistan reached £102 million ($133.6 million) from July 2024 to June 2025 — a 32.5% increase compared to the previous year, Orient.tm reports. The growth amounted to £25 million over the period.
According to data from the UK government:

Exports from the UK to Turkmenistan rose to £86 million, up 59.3% (or £32 million) year-on-year.

Imports from Turkmenistan to the UK totaled £16 million.
In terms of investment, by the end of 2023, British foreign direct investment (FDI) in Turkmenistan stood at £26 million — an increase of 4% (or £1 million) compared to the end of 2022.
The rise in trade turnover highlights the growing economic cooperation between the two countries, efforts to diversify export routes, and a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral business ties.
