Uzbek President spoke with head of Turkiye about prospects for relations

The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkiye held a telephone conversation and discussed current issues related to further expanding Uzbek-Turkish comprehensive cooperation and strengthening their all-encompassing strategic partnership, Nova24.uz reports.

Both sides expressed great satisfaction with the progressive dynamics of practical interaction in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, as well as fruitful contacts between the regions of the two countries.

The Presidents of both countries emphasized the importance of promoting new projects in industrial cooperation, including in the energy, mining, food, and textile sectors.

In the near future, another meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council will take place, and the heads of the two largest Turkic-speaking states discussed preparations for the event.

After Mirziyoyev was elected President, Turkey approved Uzbekistan's policies. The countries intend to expand air communication and cooperation in several areas simultaneously.
