A scientific study by a team of researchers from Uzbekistan, led by Dr. Elorjon Jumaev, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor, received high praise from an international jury and was awarded first place for proposing solutions to pressing issues in modern materials science, Uza.uz reports.

The research was presented at the TMS Annual Meeting-2025, an international conference in Las Vegas organized by the Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS).

The Uzbek team participated with a scientific report titled: "In-Depth Analysis of the Influence of Annealing Duration at Various Temperatures on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of High-Entropy Alloys."

This study is significant as it enhances the high-temperature resistance of new types of advanced materials. The research describes structural changes at the nanoscale while maintaining mechanical properties.

The conference brought together over 4,000 scientists from leading global organizations, companies, and universities specializing in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, and advanced materials.

Young Uzbek scientist Elorjon Jumaev has worked on projects in the laboratories of Hyundai Motors, Samsung, NASA, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He has discovered over 350 types of materials, holds more than seven international patents, and has published 16 scientific articles in leading global journals.
