The foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Iran signed a roadmap between the two state bodies outlining key tasks for bilateral cooperation, as announced by the Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Bahktiyor Saidov in his Telegram channel, Sputnik reports.
The main areas of cooperation, spanning from politics to economic diplomacy, were discussed during the online negotiations.
"We discussed all aspects of our collaboration, from politics to economic diplomacy. We also signed a 'Roadmap' between the Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Iran, outlining key tasks for our bilateral relationship that will be jointly addressed," wrote Bahktiyor Saidov.
Meanwhile, young scholars from Uzbekistan will undergo an internship in Iran. This was agreed upon by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Uzbekistan and the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization of Iran (AREEO).
