Uzbekistan Climbs in Global Passport Ranking

Uzbekistan has improved its position in the Henley & Partners global passport index, Uznews.uz reports.

According to the updated ranking, the country now holds 72nd place, moving up eight spots compared to 2024. Citizens of Uzbekistan can travel visa-free to 62 countries.

Within Central Asia, Kazakhstan leads at 61st place with access to 79 destinations. Kyrgyzstan ranks 71st (63 countries), Tajikistan 78th (56 countries), and Turkmenistan 84th (49 countries).

Globally, Singapore tops the index, with its passport allowing visa-free entry to 193 countries. It is followed by South Korea and Japan, whose citizens can visit 190 destinations without a visa.

At the bottom of the list are Afghanistan (25 countries), Syria (27), and Iraq (30).
