Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover reached $25.8 billion in January-May 2023, according to a report by the Agency on Statistics of Uzbekistan.
Compared to the same period in 2022, the increase was $5.2 billion, or 25.4%.
Exports accounted for $10.5 billion and imports for $15.3 billion.
At the end of 2022, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $50 million, with an annual growth of 18.6%. At the same time, exports amounted to $19.3 million, imports $30.7 million. The trade balance was negative -11.4 million.
