The gold and foreign exchange reserves of Uzbekistan increased by more than $2.3 billion by January 1, 2023, according to a report by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, Nova24.uz reports.
In December 2022 the gold reserve amounted to $33.4 billion, now they are $35.7 billion. The physical volume of gold amounted to 12.7 million troy ounces, the value rose to $23 billion. Foreign exchange reserves rose to $11.6 billion. the report said.
