The highest price increase in March 2023 in the EAEU member countries was recorded in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The results of March are reported by the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, Economist.kg reports.
At the end of March this year, in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, prices increased by 3.2% compared to the same period in 2022, the report said.
Prices in Belarus rose by 2.6% and in Russia by 1.7%. The slowest growth was recorded in Armenia - 0.8%.
If we look at the categories, then during the reporting period, products in Kyrgyzstan rose in price by 3.8%, and non-food products by 2.1%. In Kazakhstan, by 4.1% and 2.5%, respectively.
