A World Customs Organization (WCO) mission was in Ashgabat from March 31 to April 4 to provide technical assistance in preparing a strategic plan for the Regional Training Center in Turkmenistan, reports Turkmenportal.tm.
At the Training Center of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, WCO experts Dashgin Aliyev and Zhaydar Inkerbaev held working meetings and seminars to analyze the training process and identify key areas for the creation and effective functioning of the Regional Training Center. The experts also assisted in developing the Strategic Plan for the Training Center in accordance with WCO guidelines.
WCO experts highly praised Turkmenistan's efforts to modernize the customs education system and emphasized the importance of the Regional Training Center for the professional development of customs specialists, according to the website of Turkmenistan's Customs Service.
