Kyrgyzstan remains the leader among the EAEU member states in terms of construction sector growth, according to the report of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
In 2024, the total volume of completed construction works in the republic increased by more than 30%. This growth was driven by state programs aimed at infrastructure modernization and by Kyrgyzstan’s active participation in regional investment initiatives within the Union.
According to EEC data, between January and August 2025, the overall volume of construction works in the Eurasian Economic Union countries rose by 5.2% compared to the same period of the previous year. Positive dynamics were recorded in all member states, but the highest growth was observed in Kyrgyzstan — 45.3%, the best result among the EAEU countries.
The EEC notes that the construction sector remains one of the key drivers of the region’s economic development. In Kyrgyzstan, the active implementation of infrastructure projects, expansion of housing construction, and increased investment in industrial real estate have strengthened the country’s position in the Eurasian market.
Growth was also recorded in other EAEU member states:
— Armenia — 27.7%,
— Kazakhstan — 18.1%,
— Belarus — 9.6%,
— Russia — 3.5%.
