The issues of deepening and accelerating trade and economic relations, developing cross-border trade, e-commerce, and the construction of logistics centers and industrial parks were discussed during negotiations in Bishkek between the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Japarov, and the Deputy Chairman of the China Trade Chamber for International Cooperation in the Private Sector of the Economy, Liu Yan, as reported by the press service of the Government of Kyrgyzstan.

Special attention was given by the Kyrgyz side to the implementation of the project to build the "China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" railway, the transition of two border checkpoints, "Irkeshtam" and "Torugart," to a 7-day 12-hour working schedule, as well as the planned launch of a new border checkpoint, "Bedel."

Akylbek Japarov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan attaches special importance to cooperation with China. Taking into account the country's geographical location, Kyrgyzstan is ready to become the center of Eurasian trade and a regional logistics hub for the collection, storage, sorting, and shipment of export-oriented goods to third countries.

In turn, Liu Yan noted that the trade chamber, which unites more than 500 large Chinese companies, is ready for close practical cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
